Poster presentation guidelines:

  • Number of pages: ONE slide only (saved as a PDF).

  • Poster presentation orientation should be LANDSCAPE only.

  • A typical computer screen uses 16:9 while 4:3 is also acceptable. Ideally, set the dimensions of your poster to 43.6″ (110.7 cm) width x 24.5″ (62.2 cm) height in landscape orientation.

  • Do not use animated effects, “animations,” or videos. Also, links embedded in your poster file itself (.pdf) will not be accessible.

  • File size limit for poster presentations (pdf) is 200 MB

Oral presentation guidelines:

  • Accepted file formats include MP4, AVI, WMV and M4V.

  • The maximum file size is 300 MB oral presentations (max 12 minutes). If your file is too big, consider saving it at a lower resolution, such as Standard or HD.

  • Presentations should include a voice-over or a video insert of presenter speaking. If you place a video of the presenter speaking, be sure to not place content on your presentation in that area.

  • The following screen recorders will do an excellent job of recording your slide presentation.

    • For Mac — use the screen recording feature built into Keynote (included with most Apple devices), and send us the resulting M4V file. To edit the recording created with Keynote we recommend iMovie (included with most Apple devices). Please save your file as: Resolution:1080p, Quality: high, and Compress: Best Quality and send us the MP4 recording.

    • For Windows or Mac — use TechSmith Snagit (free 15 day trial), and send us the MP4 recording.

    • For Windows or Mac — use Zoom Meeting Application (free account), and send us the MP4 recording.
